Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose & Global Scope)

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the relationship and define the rights and obligations between Pureun Korean Academy ("Company", "we", or "KoreaKL") and global users accessing our real-life Korean and K-culture learning platform ("Service").

Article 2 (Company Information & Legal Disclosures)

Article 3 (Account Registration & Security)

1. Users can register for a free account via Google OAuth or other authentication methods provided by KoreaKL.
2. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You may not transfer or share your account with others.
3. Protection of minors adheres to statutory parental consent regulations. Please refer to our separate Youth Protection Policy.

Article 4 (Community Standards & Global Lounge Conduct)

1. KoreaKL fosters an inclusive, safe, and respectful space for learners from all cultural backgrounds.
2. Prohibited Conduct: Harassment, hate speech, sexual harassment, discriminatory language, spam/commercial promotion, unauthorized personal data sharing, and bot/automated scraping are strictly forbidden.
3. Enforcement: Violations will result in immediate content removal, chat restrictions, or permanent account suspension without prior notice.

Article 5 (Intellectual Property Rights)

1. All proprietary scenarios, dialogues, audio assets, cultural analyses, UI/UX designs, and software belong exclusively to Pureun Korean Academy.
2. Users retain ownership of comments and discussions they submit, granting the Company a non-exclusive license to display them to enhance learning quality.

Article 6 (Paid Subscriptions & Billing)

1. In addition to free scenarios, the Company offers Pro and 1:1 Academy Coaching tiers.
2. Any pricing or tier changes will be notified at least 30 days in advance via website announcement and email.

Article 7 (Statutory Cancellation & Refund Policy)

1. 7-Day Full Refund: If you cancel within 7 days of purchase without accessing paid content, you are guaranteed a 100% full refund.
2. Prior Free Preview: KoreaKL provides free preview lessons across all tracks to give learners full opportunity to evaluate the curriculum prior to purchase.
3. International Consumers: Statutory consumer rights under EU/UK and other applicable consumer protection laws are fully respected.
4. Refund inquiries can be submitted to pureun@pureun.kr or via our Support Center.

Article 8 (AI Tool Educational Disclaimer)

Interactive AI evaluation tools are educational aids designed to enhance learning agility. While calibrated by 20-year veteran Korean linguistic models, the Company does not warrant 100% absolute error-free output.

Article 9 (Governing Law & Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive first-instance jurisdiction of the Seoul Southern District Court.
